Make up/Retake Day (prepaid only) is Tuesday, May 9th in our local studio, BOOK HERE.
The online preview gallery will be emailed to you within one week and all ordering is done through the gallery.

We’re so excited to photograph your kinder grad! Fine Art School Portraits with Bloom Photos are natural photographs that will become treasured keepsakes. We offer a boutique experience and authentic, soulful photos that capture your child's youth exactly as it is at that moment. Smiles may come naturally but we’ll also chat, joke, and play with the children to get real expressions. The experience is fun and light for the children, and online ordering makes the process easy for parents and schools.
Picture Day Details
Date: Wednesday, May 3, 2023
Background color: Classic Black
Props: Green graduation cap and gown and handheld “diploma”
Photos will be taken first thing in the morning after school begins so the kids are clean and fresh-faced for pictures :)
ORDERING DETAILS
Within one week of your child’s picture day, the online preview gallery will be emailed to you. Each student will have their own preview album within the preview gallery. There will be 2-5 “poses” in each album, in both color and black and white, for a total of 4-10 images. You choose which photos you’d like to purchase and order directly from the viewing gallery. The ordering process is simple and secure.
The school gallery will be live for two weeks. ALL ORDERS MUST BE PLACED WITHIN THAT PERIOD.
Ordering options include digital images, prints, canvases, and gifts.
Digital images will be emailed directly to you with print release.
All printed orders will be delivered directly to you (not the school) and will include a shipping fee of $6.
STYLING
Parents, nearly anything goes for our Fine Art Portraits! Choose a style that works best for your child and family. Keep in mind the background color and props mentioned above.
For classic portraits- avoid graphics, logos, words, and neon clothing. Solid colors or simple prints are best, and choose a color that you love with your child’s hair and skin-tone.
For personality portraits- choose clothes that represent your kiddo just as they are right now. Costumes, fancy dresses, giant hair-bows, sport-themed clothing, it’s all fantastic. Accessories are great and add to the fun!
We recommend avoiding solid clothing that matches the background, to prevent your child from blending into the background. Poses will include half body/waist-up and close-up portraits.
Style hair however you like. Feel free to be creative but simplicity is lovely as well.
Bonus tip: If you’d like to display your photos in your home, keep in mind accent colors that you may want to compliment. Consider the colors and style in the space where the photos will live and base your styling around that. This is completely optional of course!
Important: Check your child’s face for “crusties” :) Every kiddo (especially our younger ones) tends to have something around their eyes, nose, or mouth. A quick wash in the sink or with a baby wipe will do the trick.
Please note: retakes will not be offered for child’s wardrobe, hair, appearance, or temperament.
